What you get
Fairfield's older homes and established gardens call for careful solar panel cleaning, and that's what Daniel delivers on every roof. He uses deionised water and soft brushes, includes a free condition inspection and emails photos the same day.
Daniel's promise
With Daniel, Fairfield homeowners get one reliable person, one fixed price and no subcontractors anywhere near the roof.
Fairfield has a village feel, with Victorian and Edwardian weatherboards, interwar bungalows and some postwar homes on streets running toward the Yarra and the Station Street shops. Many houses have been renovated with modern rear additions carrying solar. Daniel cleans every Fairfield system himself, and he's fully insured, so you always know who is on your roof.

You booked Daniels Solar Cleaning, you get Daniel. No subcontractors and no trainees, ever.
Fairfield's older iron and tiled roofs are cleaned with patient, careful footing, while Daniel stays secured with harness and height-safety equipment.
He tells you what he found — even when that means your panels didn't need doing yet.
Village streets
Fairfield's established homes and mature gardens mean a clean here often involves older roofs, renovated additions and trees close by.
Weatherboard houses with corrugated iron roofs are common in Fairfield. Daniel spreads his weight carefully and uses soft brushes that won't scratch glass or frames.
Established gardens and street trees add leaf litter and shade. Daniel clears the glass and uses the free condition inspection to point out any new shading worth trimming.
Modern back extensions often have low-pitch roofs holding the panels. Daniel's footing on these is deliberate, and access is usually through a side path or back gate.
Typical for 3078: A weatherboard home with a big tree in the garden next door, where leaf litter has gathered on the glass and the owner has noticed the panels looking dull.

That film isn't loose dust. It's bonded pollen, traffic soot and mineral residue — and rain doesn't shift it.

Best times to book
A clean lined up with one of these seasons suits most Fairfield solar owners.
November–December
Getting panels clean in November or December means the system meets the sunniest part of the year with clear glass instead of a spring film.
September–October
Gardens and street trees release pollen through early spring. A clean now clears it before it combines with warm-weather dust on the glass.
March–May
Autumn leaf drop can leave litter sitting on the panels. A clean in April or May clears it and lets Daniel check the array before winter.
Anytime
If a tree has grown or a neighbour has built up, it's worth a clean and inspection. Daniel photographs any new shading so you can decide what to do.
Fairfield questions
Up to 6 panels costs $140, 12 panels $150 and 14 panels $170, all including GST. Each panel past 14 is another $5, so a 26 panel system is $230. There's no surcharge for double-storey homes, and a free condition inspection comes included.
With trees nearby, twice a year is usually sensible, often once in spring and again after autumn leaf fall. Homes without overhanging trees generally do well with a yearly clean. Daniel can advise after seeing your roof.
Yes, with the right approach. Daniel steps carefully, spreads his weight and stays harnessed with height-safety gear. If any part of the array can't be reached safely, he doesn't clean it and doesn't charge for it.
It notes cracked glass, lifted seals, loose clamps and any new shading, such as a branch that has grown toward the array. Photos are emailed the same day along with your before and after shots.
Yes. Gutter vacuum cleaning is a handy add-on for homes with trees nearby, and it's 10% off when booked with a solar clean. Both jobs are done in the one visit.
Yes. If there's a side path or back gate Daniel can use, you don't need to be home. He'll email the before and after photos and any inspection notes the same day.
Most homes take 45 to 90 minutes. Arrays split between an original roof and a rear extension may take a little longer. Daniel will give you a realistic idea of timing when he confirms.
Yes. Shops, offices and other commercial buildings can book too. Send the address, access details and approximate panel count, and Daniel will reply the same day to arrange a fixed price.
