What you get
Blind Bight is a small community, and Daniel treats each booking here as its own job rather than a quick stop. His solar panel cleaning uses soft brushes and deionised water on the roof, plus a free condition inspection with photos.
Daniel's promise
Quiet streets, careful work: Blind Bight homeowners get Daniel in person, a fixed price and before and after photos the same day.
Tucked away off the South Gippsland Highway, Blind Bight is a quiet residential pocket where single-storey brick homes sit alongside newer builds and the occasional renovated older place. Boats and caravans parked beside houses are a familiar sight. Daniel does every Blind Bight clean himself, so the person who replies to your message is the one who turns up and works on your roof.

You booked Daniels Solar Cleaning, you get Daniel. No subcontractors and no trainees, ever.
Blind Bight's tiled and Colorbond roofs are walked carefully, with Daniel clipped into height-safety gear from the moment he steps off the ladder.
He tells you what he found — even when that means your panels didn't need doing yet.
Small community roofs
Most Blind Bight houses are straightforward to reach, but a few common setups are worth mentioning before Daniel arrives on the day.
Side yards here often hold a boat, trailer or caravan. If it sits on the path to the back, Daniel works around it where he safely can, so there's no need to move everything first.
Many homes are low-set brick with tiled roofs, a comfortable layout for access. Older tiles can be brittle, so Daniel steps only where the roof can take his weight.
Recently built or extended homes may have panels spread over newer Colorbond sections and original tiles on the same house. Each surface gets suitable footing and the same gentle hand clean.
Often seen in Blind Bight: Panels that went up years ago on a single-storey home, with the owners assuming a low roof means the glass will somehow stay clean on its own.
See the difference
That film isn't loose dust. It's bonded pollen, traffic soot and mineral residue — and rain doesn't shift it.

Best times to book
A few points in the year work especially well for booking a clean in Blind Bight.
November–December
Clearing the glass before summer means panels reach the brightest weeks without a winter's worth of grime and droppings holding them back.
September–October
Pollen from gardens and street trees coats roofs through spring. A clean now lifts that film before it combines with dust into something stubborn.
March–May
Autumn weather is mild enough for comfortable roof work, and a clean clears summer's dried droppings while the condition inspection checks for anything needing attention.
Anytime
If you're hearing birds on the roof or seeing fresh droppings on the glass, a clean clears the mess and Daniel can talk through mesh bird proofing.
Blind Bight questions
Prices include GST: $140 covers up to 6 panels, $150 covers 12 and $170 covers 14. Beyond that, add $5 a panel, so a 20 panel system is $200. There's no surcharge for double-storey homes, and every clean includes a free condition inspection.
Yes. Blind Bight is covered, along with nearby Tooradin and Pearcedale. There's no call-out fee, and bookings are usually available the same week. Send Daniel your address and panel count to get a fixed price.
Yes. He uses only deionised pure water and soft brushes, with no detergents and no pressure washing. That gentle approach avoids harsh chemicals or force on the glass, frames and seals, which is what manufacturers expect.
Daniel clears droppings as part of the clean and can quote mesh bird proofing, which fits around the edge of the array to keep birds from settling in behind the panels. He'll look at your roof first and give a separate quote.
Most homes take 45 to 90 minutes. A compact single-storey system is at the quicker end, while larger arrays or panels spread over several roof faces take longer. Daniel will give you a rough idea when confirming.
It's a sensible step. Clean panels look better in listing photos and at open inspections, and the free condition inspection gives you photos showing the state of the array to share with buyers or your agent.
It does. Dust, pollen and grime form a film that stops some sunlight reaching the cells, and a single bird dropping can shade part of a panel. Keeping the glass clean lets the system work the way it was designed to.
Yes. When neighbours book on the same visit, Daniel can move from house to house and everyone receives a better rate. Just send through each address and panel count in one message.
