What you get
Larger family homes are a feature of Taylors Lakes, and Daniel's solar panel cleaning handles their bigger roofs with care, working harnessed on the roof with deionised water and soft brushes. A free condition inspection and same-day photos are included.
Daniel's promise
Whatever the size of your Taylors Lakes home, Daniel quotes a fixed price and does the entire clean himself.
Taylors Lakes developed from the 1980s onward around its lakes and wetlands and near Watergardens Town Centre, with generous brick homes that are often double storey. Daniel cleans solar panels on these homes personally, including the larger systems many families have installed. There's no call centre, just Daniel replying to your enquiry, doing the roof work and sending the photos.
Quoted and confirmed by text before the booking. No add-ons and no surprise charges on the day.
You booked Daniels Solar Cleaning, you get Daniel. No subcontractors and no trainees, ever.
Taylors Lakes roofs are often high and broad, so Daniel stays harnessed to height-safety gear and treats every tile and sheet with care.
He tells you what he found — even when that means your panels didn't need doing yet.
Larger family homes
Homes around Taylors Lakes tend to be roomier than older parts of Brimbank, which changes the scale and planning of a solar clean.
Many houses here are two storeys with high eaves. Daniel's harness and height-safety setup is built for these roofs, and there's still no surcharge for the extra height.
Plenty of households have gone for bigger systems or added panels over time. Pricing stays transparent at $5 for each panel beyond 14, with no hidden extras.
Homes with steeper pitches and multiple gables look impressive but need careful movement. Daniel anchors in before reaching the array and takes the time each section requires.
Seen across 3038: A large array spread across the upper roof of a two-storey home, too high and steep for the owner to consider tackling, and quietly collecting dust and droppings.
See the difference
That film isn't loose dust. It's bonded pollen, traffic soot and mineral residue — and rain doesn't shift it.

Best times to book
These are good times of year for Taylors Lakes homeowners to put a solar clean on the calendar.
Nov–Dec
A big array has a lot of glass to keep clear. Cleaning before summer lets all of it make the most of the season's long, bright days.
Sep–Oct
Gardens, parks and street trees release plenty of pollen through spring. Washing it off early stops it combining with dust into a harder layer.
Mar–May
Summer leaves droppings and dust dried hard on the glass. An autumn clean clears the surface and gives Daniel a chance to inspect the array before winter.
Anytime
If you've recently expanded your system, it's a good moment to have the older panels cleaned so the whole array starts off on an even footing.
Taylors Lakes questions
Taylors Lakes pricing runs $140 for up to 6 panels, $150 for 12 and $170 for 14, all GST inclusive. Larger systems add $5 for each panel past 14, so 30 panels costs $250. No double-storey surcharge applies, and a free condition inspection is included.
Yes. Big arrays simply take a bit longer, sometimes beyond the typical 45 to 90 minutes. Each panel is still cleaned by hand with deionised water and soft brushes, and the price is set by panel count before he starts.
Daniel works directly on the roof using a harness and height-safety gear, which lets him manage steep pitches and high rooflines safely. You pay the same as a single-storey home, and nothing for any section that can't be reached safely.
Once a year is a good baseline for normal dust, pollen and bird droppings. If trees are close to the house or birds are regular visitors, twice a year keeps a larger array in better shape. Daniel will give you his honest opinion.
Before and after photos are emailed the same day, along with notes from the free condition inspection. If Daniel spots cracked glass, lifted seals, loose clamps or new shading, it's photographed so you can see it clearly.
Yes. Double-storey gutters are awkward to reach yourself, and Daniel's gutter vacuum cleaning is 10% off when booked with a solar clean. Both jobs are done on the one visit, so there's only one day to plan.
Not if there's side access to the back of the house. Daniel can complete the clean while you're out and email the photos the same day. Just let him know about gates, pets or alarms beforehand.
Tap water contains minerals that can dry into spots on the glass. Deionised water has those removed, so it rinses clean without residue. Combined with soft brushes and no detergents, it's a gentle, warranty-safe way to clean panels.
