Daniel's promise
Vermont homes get a straight fixed price, and Daniel personally does the work, harnessed and insured.
Much of Vermont was built through the 1960s and 1970s, and its streets still feel established, with brick veneer homes, mature gardens and generous backyards. Over time, some houses have been extended upstairs or replaced with larger rebuilds. Whatever the style, Daniel cleans every Vermont system himself, so the same careful person is on your roof each time you book.

You booked Daniels Solar Cleaning, you get Daniel. No subcontractors and no trainees, ever.
Vermont roofs, often original tiles beside mature gardens, are cleaned with careful footing and Daniel attached to height-safety gear the whole way.
He tells you what he found — even when that means your panels didn't need doing yet.
Established gardens
Vermont's older homes and generous gardens bring a few practical considerations each time Daniel sets up for a clean.
Big gardens often mean tall trees near the house. Leaf litter can collect along the lower edge of arrays, and Daniel clears the glass carefully without disturbing the panel mounts.
A number of Vermont homes have added a second storey over the years, sometimes moving or expanding the solar system. Daniel handles the extra height at no extra charge.
Many houses have side gates leading to large backyards. If Daniel can get through, you don't need to be home, and he'll email photos once the clean is done.
Frequently in Vermont: Panels on a north-facing roof that also catches leaf litter from a large backyard tree, leaving darker patches along the bottom row of panels.
See the difference
That film isn't loose dust. It's bonded pollen, traffic soot and mineral residue — and rain doesn't shift it.

Best times to book
These points in the calendar suit a clean for Vermont solar owners.
Nov–Dec
Washing off the dust and pollen from the cooler months lets your panels meet the longest, brightest days of the year with clear glass.
Sep–Oct
Flowering gardens and trees release plenty of pollen in spring. A clean now clears that film and gives Daniel a chance to look over the array after winter.
Mar–May
As deciduous trees drop their leaves, some settle on panels on top of summer dust. A clean later in autumn clears both before the low winter sun.
Anytime
After strong winds, twigs, leaves and grime can end up across the panels. A clean clears them, and the condition inspection checks for any loose clamps or damage.
Vermont questions
For a Vermont home, cleaning is $140 for up to 6 panels, $150 for 12 and $170 for 14, including GST. Each panel over 14 is $5, so 24 panels comes to $220. Double-storey homes pay the same, and a free condition inspection is included every time.
If a large tree overhangs your roof, twice a year is often sensible, as leaf litter and droppings build up faster. Homes without nearby trees usually manage well with an annual clean. Daniel will give you an honest recommendation.
No. Daniel's pricing is the same for single and double-storey homes. He works on the roof with a harness and height-safety gear, and if any section of panels can't be reached safely, you won't pay for it.
No, provided there's side access through a gate. Daniel can do the clean while you're out and email before and after photos the same day. If access is locked, just arrange to be home or leave the gate unlocked.
Nothing besides pure water. Daniel uses deionised water and soft brushes, with no detergents and no pressure washing. This gentle approach is warranty-safe and leaves no residue on the glass once it dries.
Yes. Gutter vacuum cleaning is available and comes with 10% off when booked alongside your solar clean. For homes with big trees nearby, doing both on the same visit is often a sensible pairing.
Daniel looks for cracked glass, lifted seals, loose clamps and any new shading from trees that have grown since the panels went in. Anything worth your attention is photographed and sent with your same-day email.
Yes. If several homes nearby book on the same visit, each one receives a better rate. Send Daniel the addresses and panel counts, and he'll arrange a time that works for everyone involved.
